Abstract
In the past few years high-field magnetic transitions have been extensively studied for a number of singlecrystalline samples of the R2T17 series (R = rare earths, T = Co or Fe). The transitions observed in Ho2Co17 and Dy2Co17 are exchange-driven transitions connected with a breaking of the ferrimagnetic structure and only occur in applied fields above 20 T.
