Abstract
The question of 5f electron delocalization is discussed in the light of Mössbauer high pressure data on NpCo2Si2, NpAs, NpAl2, NpOs2, and NpSn3. A wide spectrum between highly localized and fairly itinerant magnetic behavior is observed. The volume dependence for NpSn3 is highly unusual.
