ACCURATE DETERMINATION OF PARAMETERS OF INTERNAL FRICTION ASSOCIATED WITH GRAIN BOUNDARY

Abstract
An equation to express grain-boundary internal friction was developed and established. We use this equation to fit experimental curves of internal friction associated with grain-boundary motion by computational techniques. According to this method, a series of micro-parameters for grain-boundary internal friction was obtained from a single experimental curve. This equation and computer program was checked with T.S. Ke's work on pure Al /1/, showing that the result is satisfactory.
