Abstract
Internal friction in TiHx with 0 ≤ x ≤ 1.5 is measured at frequencies near 1Hz and 1kHz. Four relaxation peaks are generally observed, two of which are attributable to dislocation motion in hcp α phase while the others to hydrogen redistribution in fcc or fct hydrides.
