Abstract
We consider the eigenvalue problem of an electronic two site system with intersite coupling interacting locally with two vibrational modes. By operator transformations the eigenvalue problem is reduced to that of an electronic two level system coupled to a single vibrational mode via displacive and transitive couplings. The eigensolutions are determined numerically using scalar and matrix continued fraction methods.
