Abstract
Internal friction measurements and creep rupture tests were carried out on Al-Cu, Al-Fe and Al-Si alloys and a commercial Al-Cu-Mg-Si-Fe alloy. It was found that under conditions of the same grain size the relationship between internal friction (Q-1) and creep rupture time ([MATH]) may be written as [MATH] = A-8Q-1, in which A and B are constants.
