Abstract
Relaxation phenomena attributable to the intrinsic properties of dislocations are reviewed. The principal theoretical models for the intrinsic dislocations relaxations and the Snoek-Köster relaxation are presented in outline. Recent important experimental results, mainly on f.c.c, h.c.p. and b.c.c. metals, are examined and compared with the theoretical predictions.
