ION CLUSTERS IN THE POSITIVE COLUMN OF He-Co AND Ar-Co DISCHARGES

Abstract
The positive ion spectra of He-CO discharges with and without small additions of O2 have been described in (1). Here we report on positive mass spectra in He-Co-O2 and Ar-CO glow discharges in a wider mass range and show the presence of ion clusters having a mass of up to 188 A.M.U..
