COMPATIBILITY OF THE FRIEDEL-ANDERSON VBS AND IONIC APPROACHES TO THE THEORY OF MAGNETIC IONS IN METALS
Abstract
A single formulation reproduces both the ionic and Friedel-Anderson schemes. The quenching of angular momentum without crystal fields is described.
