APPLICABILITY OF THE THEORY OF THE JOSEPHSON EFFECT IN TUNNEL JUNCTIONS TO WEAK LINKS

Résumé
On examine un modèle de jonction Josephson où la barrière qui sépare les supraconducteurs contient un grand nombre de petits orifices (a≤k-1F). On montre que pour cette structure l'effet Josephson se décrit à l'aide de la théorie bien connue développée pour les jonctions tunnels.
Abstract
A model of weak link is considered, where superconductors are separated by the opaque barrier with a great number of small (a ≤ k-1F) transparent apertures in it. The Josephson effect in the structure is shown to be adequately described by the well-known theory first suggested for tunnel junctions.
