Résumé
Plusieurs monocristaux de V3Si de pureté différente ont été analysés par dilatométrie en présence et en l'absence de champ magnétique. L'anisotropie de dilatation indique que la transformation martensitique commence bien au-dessus de 30 K. Ceci peut s'expliquer par la formation de microdomaines.
Abstract
Measurements of the thermal expansion are presented on several single crystals of V3Si with various purities in the absence and presence of magnetic fields. The anisotropic thermal expansion indicates that the transformation begins at a temperature above 30 K ; this seems to be explained by the formation of microdomains.
