MESON RESONANCES
V. CHALOUPKACERN
Abstract
This report is supposed to give a summary of the papers submitted to this Conference and concerning meson resonances, except for the papers relevant to ππ and Kπ phase shifts, and 3-meson partial wave analyses, covered by special sessions. A list of all the papers is given in Table I together with a summary of the content of each of them ; we follow the classification of ref. [1], which should be consulted for bibliography and comparison with previous experiments. For a comprehensive review of the status of meson spectroscopy just before this Conference see ref. [2]. Due to the lack of space, and also to avoid overlap with the rapport of I. Butterworth on hadron spectroscopy, we discuss in this written form of the talk only the non-observation of the narrow peaks around 1 GeV and the two mass-independent analyses of the ωπ system.
