TRANSVERSE RELAXATION IN A RANDOM ANISOTROPY SYSTEM : AMORPHOUS DyNi

Abstract
The magnetic moment behaviour (modulus and direction) of a random anisotropy system rotating in a static field has been studied using a set-up consisting of two perpendicular SQUID detectors. Two kinds of experiments have been realized. Both are interpreted using a clusters model associated with relaxation-time distributions.
