Abstract
Dilation and capacitance measurements of the inverse piezomagnetic effect in FexZn1-xF2 (x = 0.46 and 1) exhibit a linear dependence with H and a proportionality to the sublattice magnetization, m ~ tβwith β = 0.33(2) for FeF2. For Fe0.46Zn0.54F2 a crossover is observed from random exchange (β = 0.35 (1)) to random field (-β ≤ 1/8) with increasing H.
