Abstract
We report spin-polarized energy band calculations for CeFe2 which yield a calculated moment of 2.4 µB/formula unit in agreement with experiment. The moment includes a contribution of -0.4 µB from the 4f electrons. The spin-resolved state densities and magnetic form factor of CeFe2 have also been calculated and it is suggested that the theory may be verified in detail by their measurement.
