Abstract
The magnetic properties of ternary alloys with general formula RFe12-x Tx (R = Gd, Sm, Y, Nd, T = Mo, Ti, V) have been studied by magnetization and Moessbauer measurements. Curie temperatures are in the range of 350 to 600 K and anisotropy fields are comparable to R2Fe14B type compounds. A spin reorientation transition has been observed in NdFe9.8V2.2.
