MECHANISM OF EXPLOSIVE WELDING OF METALS

Résumé
On discute le mécanisme de soudage explosif. Des résultats expérimentaux montrent que la surface de liaison est formée apres le passage du point de collision et que ce processus est affecte considerablement, par des propriétés physiques de métaux. On met en doute l'utilité du modéle hydrodynamique pour la description du processus de soudage explosif.
Abstract
Mechanism of explosive welding is discussed. The experimental date indicate that the explosive bonding interface forms behind the collision point and the physical properties of metals affect considerably this process. The usefulness of hydrodynamic model for describing the explosive welding process is called in question.
