Abstract
Investigations on microstructures of high purity copper specimens deformed at various strain rates ranging from about 10-4 to about 104 per second and at room temperature have been carried out. The mode of deformation has been revealed by metallographic examination of all the specimens. Experimental observations show the structural differences for the specimens deformed at very high strain rates.
