ELECTRONIC STRUCTURE OF Zn3As2 AND Cd3As2 FROM X-RAY SPECTRA

Abstract
The Zn Kβ2,5 and As Kβ2 x-ray emission spectra excited by fluorescence method and the Zn K and As K x-ray absorption spectra for Zn3As2 and Cd3As2 have been measured by using a double-crystal x-ray spectrometer. The electron binding energies for Zn3As2 and Cd3As2 have been obtained from x-ray photoelectron spectra. The x-ray bremsstrahlung isochromats from both compounds at the photon energy of 5415 eV have been also studied.
