Abstract
Grain boundary relaxation of iron based solid solutions
shows stronger dependence on grain size than for the pure metal. Insoluble
particles in grain boundaries of copper suppress grain boundary relaxation and
decrease the peak temperature with the decrease of the interparticle distance.
When the last is less than 0.5 µ the peak disappears.
