Abstract
Ultrasonic attenuation experiment showed that H occupies the third nearest o-site of N in niobium, the activation enthalpy of N-H pair was 0.20 eV, and the frequency factor was 3.0x1012sec-1. Results of resistivity measurements showed that three H atoms can be trapped per oxygen interstitial at low temperature in niobium, the trapping enthalpy being 0.13 eV.
