Abstract
The internal friction in the polycrystalline sintered specimen BaPb0.75Bi0.25O3 (BPB) was measured as a function of temperature between 4.2 K and 25 K and magnetic field up to 5 T. The internal friction is proposed to reflect indirectly the electron-phonon interaction through the thermo-mechanical relaxation-Zener relaxation-in the polycrystalline specimen.
