LIBRATIONAL MODES OF WATER IN CRYSTAL HYDRATES AND PHASE-TRANSITIONS

Abstract
Temperature dependence of infrared active librational modes of water in polycrystalline M(C104)26H.2O (M=Mg and Zn, respectively) shows phase transitions at 225.5, 193 and 110 K in the former and at 284, 256.5 and 233K in the latter.
