ELECTRON-PHONON COUPLING IN THE NONTRANSITION METAL CADMIUM

Abstract
By inelastic neutron scattering we observed several anomalies in the group velocities of the phonon dispersion curves. They could all be allocated on the Fermi surface. Strengths and shape of the anomalies differ considerably from theoretical predictions.
