MÖSSBAUER ANALYSIS OF GRAIN BOUNDARIES AS A FUNCTION OF THE GRAIN BOUNDARY STRUCTURE

Résumé
Des bicristaux et polycristaux d'argent contenant des traces de 119Sn aux joints de grains ont été examinés par spectrométrie Mössbauer. Les premiers résultats indiquent que pour les faibles désorientations, le spectre est sensiblement celui de 119Sn en solution solide avec une largeur de raie plus petite que pour des échantillons polycristallins.
Abstract
Both polycrystalline and bicrystalline silver foils with a small amount of 119mSn sandwiched in the boundary were produced and the Mössbauer spectra were recorded. The preliminary result on small angle boundaries showed that the main spectrum position was near that of solid solution 119mSn and the line width was smaller than that of polycrystalline specimen.
