MEAN LIVES IN NV

Abstract
We have measured decay curves for thirty-five transitions in NV yielding mean lives for twenty-seven levels. Analysis techniques used include multiple-exponential least squares fitting to differentiated and undifferentiated decay curves and a multiple linear regression applied to cascade related arbitrarily normalized decay curves (ANDC). Our results are, in general, in good agreement with theoretical values calculated in the Coulomb approximation.
