PROBLEMS IN POPULARIZATION
V.F. WEISSKOPFMassachussets Institute of Technology
Abstract
I would like to speak about the difficulties of popularizing high energy physics, but first about how little is done about it. I speak only about America and Europe, because I know less about Soviet Union and China, and the other countries. By popularization, I mean explaining high energy physics to other scientists and laymen - not to the high energy physicists : that also is a problem ! (laughs). About this I could say a lot but I will not.
