PARTICLE PRODUCTION WHEN CROSS SECTIONS GROW
F. ZACHARIASENCalifornia Institute of Technology
Abstract
If the total cross section crows, what can we say about particle production ? Of a model independent nature, nothing. But if we are willing to make some guesses about the nature of the partial cross sections σn (s) to produce n particles, we can at least itemize the various possibilities.
