Dans le régime de fonctionnement avec colonne positive intérieure, nous montrons que la quantité de chaleur apportée au gaz par les parois de la cathode est telle qu'il y a un blocage thermique. A ce moment, la température est maximale en amont de l'extrémité de la cathode où s'établit un col sonique.

Abstract
In the regime of operation with internal positive colum we show that the heat supplied to the gas by the cathode wall is so great that a thermal choking appears. Then the temperature is maximum above the cathode end where a sonic throat exists.
