NONLINEAR WAVES IN CAPILLARIES

Abstract
The paper considers the wave propagation in elastic enclosures filled in with viscous fluid. It is shown that if hydrodynamic nonlinearity is taken into account, the phenomenon can be described by a ''multiwave" equation. Noncorrectness of reducing the equations to the evolutional ones is shown for the case when fluid is viscous. The case of nonlinear wave propagation in capillaries is treated. The model equation is obtained and the wave structure is calculated.
