Abstract
The characteristics of asymmetric hysteresis loop of magnetization for antiferromagnetic fcc FeMn/ferromagnetic fcc NiFe coupled films was investigated. The loop shift (He) and coercivity (Hc) were inversely proportional to NiFe layer thickness. The He was changed by FeMn layer composition and field-cooling temperature, being associated with the Néel point of the fcc Fe-Mn alloys. It was considered that the asymmetric loop was attributed to the domain wall motion in NiFe layer against the unidirectional pinning forces acting at the interface region.
