Abstract
Magnetoresistivity measurements Ɗρ/ρ have been performed on the random anisotropy system a - (DyxGd1-x)Ni in applied fields 0 < Ha ≤ 10 kOe, 4 < T < 300 K, in samples with x = 1, 0.75, 0.5 and 0.1. At low temperatures Ɗρ/ρ is negative and decreases linearly with √Ha, indicating weak-electron localization effects. Magnetic fluctuations near the freezing temperature are analysed and discussed.
