Abstract
Magnetization of InP crystals with 8 x 1018 cm-3 Mn is investigated with a SQUID magnetometer. The paramagnetic susceptibility is found to obey the Curie-Weiss law with an indication of a weak ferromagnetic interaction between Mn spins. Upon illumination with unpolarized light a pronounced enhancement of the magnetization of the sample is observed.
