PRESSURE EFFECT OF CURIE TEMPERATURE ON ReAl2 COMPOUNDS

Abstract
The Curie temperature of Gd (Al1-xCox)2 with C15 type structure increased lineally with increasing pressure and the ratios dTc / dp were obtained as 0.5, 0.38, 0.25 and 0, for the samples of x = 0, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.2, respectively. The simple RKKY model was applied to describing the pressure effect of the Curie temperature of Gd (Al1-xCox)2.
