Abstract
Laser surface treatment with powder addition have received a particular attention. Improvements of the substrate mechanical properties have given encouraging results, however a better comprehension of the physical interaction during the treatement is necessary. Tow main aspects were specialy highlighted : the gas and particles flow caracterisation and the laser and powder interaction. The experimental set up will be describe in these two cases.
