Abstract
Two types of the reflectors to be used in XUV laser cavities are considered. They are : i) selective multilayer mirrors, and ii) broad-band concave mirrors with sliding modes. Both can be used for back-reflection of XUV beams with the efficiency of tens of percent. Another kind of optics can be used in optical pumping laser schemes to increase the flux density of the pumping radiation directed onto the active medium. This is an analogue of the ideal optical concentrators known in solar physics. Their calculated efficiency for some materials is 10 - 40 % in the range 40 Å < λ < 400, Å.
