Abstract
Computations from pressure and intensity levels given by an intensity meter allow in principle to estimate the reverberation factor used for field correction or room acoustics. Based on experimental data such as sound power determination or local field analysis (1D, 2D, 3D intensity) carried out in more or less diffuse fields, the method has been analysed and the limits of a global single number estimation are discussed.
