DOMAIN STRUCTURE IN ISING FERROMAGNET SmNi5

Abstract
The domain structure in SmNi5 single crystals has been studied at 5 K by means of the oxygen cryocondensation method. The domain wall energy has been estimated to be 0.7 erg/cm2. The calculations of the Ising domain wall energy have been performed. Consistence between experimental and theoretical values has been found.
