OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF Ti3+ IN MgAl2O4 SPINEL

Abstract
Absorption and lumienscence spectra of Ti3+ in synthetic MgAl2O4 are reported. It was found that luminescence spectra were dependent on excitation wavelength. An origin of Ti3+ luminescence is discussed.
