Abstract
This paper deals with the calculations for a CO2 optical system based upon the wave front reconstruction principle. They have regard to ware front aberrations and diffraction losses due to the five optical elements. This system is used to provide a uniform density power near the focus plane of a spherical mirror. The optical components are one pyramidal and four spherical mirrors.
