TIME-RESOLVED EXCIMER FORMATION IN PYRENE CRYSTALS

Abstract
Fluorescence transients of pyrene single crystals are measured with picosecond time resolution (4 K ÷ 300 K). The results indicate a different excimer formation process in low and high temperature crystalline phase occuring in one and two steps, resp.
