Abstract
As molecular plasmas with alkali seedings are widely used in different devices the data on elementary processes in such plasmas are of great interest. One of the main processes in this type of plasmas which influences both energy balance and ionization balance of plasma is the collisional deactivation of resonant state of alkali atoms by molecules. In [I] a detailed review is given of experimental and theoretical data on quenching cross sections for different pairs : alkali atom + molecule. However there is no ineformation in literature about such process for pair:cesium + carbon dioxide.
