ON THE DISTRIBUTION FUNCTION OF SURFACE CHARGE DENSITY WITH RESPECT TO SURFACE CURVATURE

Abstract
It is known experimentally that there exists a functional relationship between surface charge density σ and surface curvature k on a charged conductor. However, this relationship has never been found in electrostatics up to now. In previous papers /1/ and /2/ we have discussed this problem and derived the distribution function of σ with respect to k. A supplementary elucidation is given in this paper to explain why this distribution function can be established firmly.
