FERROMAGNETIC PHASE TRANSITIONS IN THE HUBBARD MODEL

Abstract
We show that the coupling of charge and spin density fluctuations in the three-dimensional Hubbard model with total charge fixed severely restricts the occurrence of a continuous ferromagnetic transition.
